Container Orders                                                                                                                                                       
Save up to 50% off regular wholesale prices by having a container shipped directly from point of origin to your door. Shipments are available in 20 foot, 40 foot and 40 foot HQ (High Cube) containers.
  
   Additional customized container benefits include:    
  • Customized designs 
  • Mixing one-of-kind items, architectural accents, antiques or reproductions.  
  • Including items such as accessories and other home furnishings that can be packed inside our case goods to   maximize your space in the form of free freight.    
  • We offer restocking discounts from our Atlanta warehouse for our container customers.  
      
    For Container purchases we work to ensure quality, and  that our customer's specifications are met. Upon completion, a member of our  team personally inspects each item and oversees the packaging and safe storage within the container. Thereafter, we complete the process with economical and timely delivery to your desired location.

Warehouse Orders                                                                                                                                                      
EastWind Traders warehouse provides a showcase for our products. We stock our bestsellers, and unique one-of-a-kind pieces. We ship less than container loads of furniture out of our warehouse in Atlanta. We have no minimum order requirements and will be happy to arrange shipment at client's request.    
All merchandise is shipped freight collect. Please view our terms and conditions of sale for more information regarding shipping.  Prices shown are F.O.B. Atlanta warehouse. Please call our warehouse to inquire. We would be happy to use any "blanket wrap" shipper that  you suggest. 
 
We do offer Volume Discounts for Orders greater than $10,000 and $20,000 for details please call our warehouse.

Terms & Conditions                                                                                                                                                      
Container Orders:
   Upon placing order a deposit of 50% is required. The balance is due 7 days after delivery of container to the agreed upon location. Quoted price of   goods include packing and transport to the port of origin. Orders are shipped  F.O.B from port of origin to customer's door.
  
Warehouse Orders:
   Product is paid for before shipping, F.O.B Atlanta warehouse to customer's   door.
  
Shipping & Handling:
   We are not responsible for damages or loss occurring in transit. Our full   time quality control staff thoroughly checks all pieces of furniture before  shipping. If there is damage that occurs in transit, please notify your  carrier immediately because claims must be made within 5 days of receipt of  goods. EastWind Traders is not responsible for any damages occurring in transit.
  
 If a customer receives a defective product, we will need photos as proof sent to us immediately to verify the problem.

Product Information                                                                                                                                                      
EastWind Traders furniture is constructed from various   types of hardwood.  
  • Sheesham, which is a Rosewood  grown in India mostly used for darker finishes.    
  • Keekar, which is an Acacia grown  in India  used for lighter finishes.    
  • Antique Teak, grown long ago in Burma and  salvaged for one-of-a-kind furniture and original one of kind antiques.  
  • Mango is not of the indigenous rainforest; Mango wood is not an environmentally endangered species is soon to become our predominant   wood of choice for crafting our furniture.     
     
    Characteristics of Hardwood.  Each piece is unique and shows all the natural hallmarks, such as knots and slight indentation.   This is why so many people are drawn to the warmth and beauty associated with   each handcrafted piece.    

    These woods   are very dense, thus making the pieces of furniture extremely heavy and   durable. The heart of these woods is very hard and weighs nearly 55 pounds   per foot. Over the centuries these woods were highly prized for making  wheel-curves, cartwheels, rollers for extracting oil seed, agricultural  implements like ploughs, tools, swords and knives. Consequently, these woods   with wonderful and unique grain provide us with the highest quality of  natural material to create our furniture. We properly kiln-dry all of our  wood to prevent the wood from splitting.    

    We offer various finishes but stock only 3 finishes in the warehouse # 5 Classic Sheesham dark brown, # 3 Old World Sheesham medium brown, and Ember Keekar a  lighter brown.    

    Expect finish variations since differences in wood grain can affect the finish, it is impossible to guarantee an exact match between two pieces.
